I don't see how Indiana and especially Ohio can be Midwest when they're east of the Mississippi River, which is where the West starts, but if they are, Kentucky is the same as them.

Kentucky is not southern.

.....you don't know America history I am guessing? At one point, we were considered the West because we were as far west as American had established. As Manifest Destiny kept pushing out towards California, those states were "updated" to be Midwest. It's not literally-accurate but the name stuck since culturally we differ from the East and West Coasts.

As for Kentucky, you are arguing longitude but completely ignoring latitude. As well as cultural similarities, geographically, economic stuff, etc. But I mean throwing in Kentucky in with the Midwest because it's east of the Mississippi, might as well throw Tennessee in with us as well.

Wisconsin

You and Minnesota and the Dakotas and maybe Michigan/Y-uppers are a bit unique. Like you are still the Midwest but you have your own sub-unit. It's you all from the north and Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Iowa as the other half.

Y'all are NWO Wolfpac and we are NWO Black and White.

I know American history. Ohio and Kentucky were never considered "the West." That's like saying Pennsylvania is "the south" because it's south of New England.

I never said Kentucky. I said the Midwest was considered the West because we were as far west as the US stretched. And as Manifest Destiny took hold and more and more states were admitted into the Union, the nomenclature changed to become the Midwest because we were in the middle (at that time) to the East and the newer states.
