on a note inside? Or there was a save file at the end of the game so you could see the ending if it was too hard or you didn't have enough time to beat it?

I used to hate stuff like this. Or anything ruining a perfect game case. Now, I feel like it makes the game more special. The game went on a journey and a lot of people enjoyed it.

True story.

The first 'import' game I ever played was Super Mario Brothers 3.
It was as a local rental shop, that had it all, and maybe some downstate ties as well.

Either way, they rented the bootleg so me and my fam beat the game before it was released in the states.
I remember we didn't turn of the NES for days so we didn't lose our place in the game.

So, I remember that.

Me and my sister did that once. We wrote down all the passwords to Gex 64 on an index card before turning it into Blockbuster.
