Looking into buying a year of Disney +, wondering if it charges you the full year up front rather than a discounted monthly charge?

Is there also an auto renew option that I can turn off? So like for example if my year goes by, that it doesn't automatically renew for another month if I forget to cancel?

Of course it takes it up upfront. Otherwise there's no point and would come with a contract disclosure.

I don't think auto renew can be turned off. I'm too lazy to check right now. Just set a reminder for a few days before the year is up and then cancel.

Hoping to not have to do this. Trying to do it as a gift for someone for Christmas.

Maybe I'll just have to do a pre-paid credit card or something
