So far I've looked things up and I would get unemployment benefits 9 weeks after I quit, I have enough money to cover rent food and stuff for about 6 months anway
Is there anything else I'm missing?
Quitting isn't the hard part, it's the process of what happens next.
Also no I have no guaranteed job but it's relatively easy to get one

Because BrutaI is starting to realize that he might end up on anti-depressants again if he keeps at his current job.

I took about two weeks holidays off, got a normal sleep schedule and after one day back of going to nights I feel like if I walk in there I'll put the computer through a window.

Why not secure the next job before quitting?

This is best but can also be difficult depending on your local job market. A lot of times employers want you hired on ASAP, like yesterday, and aren't willing to wait 2+ weeks for you to finish up at another job.

Unless you're hella qualified for the position, they can just as easily pass you over for someone else that's willing to start work tomorrow.
