And he's drunk and he's screaming about things that nobody actually cares about. So shortly after graduating, one of the varsity guys (quarterback I think) got caught with a lot of weed in his car. Like, a lot a lot. Family contacts and influence over some city government folks managed to get all charges dropped, not even a warning or probation. Then in university the guy was expected to become a big deal on their football team... Then he ended up getting wasted on alcohol and coke, really frequently and to the extent that he was only able to avoid charges because he "willingly left the university" and they used contacts to get the police to not charge him as he clearly learned his lesson. The23rdMagus 12/05/19 10:28:52 AM #26:	Pains me to say it, but I'm calling 4-D chess on this one. The way I'm seeing it, he's putting the House Democrats on the spot by taunting them. They're already in a difficult position with witnesses being directed not to testify (presumably to their boss' innocence) and the matter being tied up in court battles. They can either wait until the possibility of overwhelming evidence is obtained from these witnesses (there's a lot of cordite in the air, but Mulvaney and Bolton may have the gun) and force the Senate to take a stand on one side of history or the other, or they can rush through, call Trump's bluff, and potentially get a reputation for going off half-cocked if the Senate manages to eviscerate it. They're being outmaneuvered, and he's running out the clock.
