I was thinking about this in Death Stranding where it's meant to be like post-apocalypse with close to nothing remaining of the old world and yet there are fucking cans of delicious Monster Energy right in the foreground to destroy all plot and immersion.

It inspired to me wonder how the world would react if hyper-advanced aliens turned up and flooded the world with "Ultra-Carnick Super Snacks and Sports Drinks" after they pissed off the galatic community by accidentially blowing up some primative planets during R&D.

To mend their bad reputation like an oil company protecting some of the rainforest they decide to "Go and save a primitive planet from extinction" by coming here and casually ending world hunger/thirst.

Now there is limitless Ultra-Carnick Super Snacks and Sports Drinks literally everywhere for free everywhere on Earth but just Ultra-Carnick Super Snacks and Sports Drinks racked with logos and flyers everywhere and the aliens expect you to like pose with them and stuff.

Occasionally higher up aliens turn up and we have to like super suck up to them and show how great their aid is or they will pull it.
