So far I've spent about $5000-$8000, so yes. Though that was several major purchases, so not a typical year.

I spend 20-30$ a year through my sisters accounts. Just got a buzzer for my facial hair a couple days ago. That's the only thing this year.

there's no local department here and their best offerings from overseas barely beat out the prices in my local stores and that doesn't include shipping. soon they'll begin offering prime with free delivery but what's the point if the pricing doesn't really beat local with overseas shipping usually taking longer?

Amazon is less about a good deal but more about convenience now. Amazon, now, generally has the same prices (or is slightly cheaper or slightly more) than other stores.

The only time I ever shop on Amazon is Christmas shopping, cause I'm a lazy fuck. Generally, that ends up being in the $200 - $300 range.

I last bought something on Amazon.com in 2007.
