were so much better. I'll sound like the old guy too but was watching the original movie last night and the acting and everything has an actual soul. I'll take actual special effects and work any day over cgi too. I don't need a million meaningless things going on on screen and cheese as far as actual atmosphere. There is so much going on in the originals as it is and it's all crafted by hand seemingly.

What happened is actual good acting has been destroyed and demolished by the anti-cheese police.

If you emote, it's cheesy acting.

So naturally, old films have better acting.

I don't know if it's so much cheese or if people have just become more conformist because of technologyand mass marketing or whatever it is. Whatever it is you can tell the acting is more personal to each actor. Thespianism or whatever it is. It's probably more simplistic but it's really not. It's more intelligent acting and scripts and everything else. More slow paced I guess but each detail is crafted. I don't need a punch line every nanosecond. That stuff just happens regardless. Even how drama is done now. They overdo it or just don't care as much where it doesn't work as well.
