Kim Gun-Mo (I think... 53? in non-Korean age, or that article is displaying his non-Korean age) was a huge huge singer in the 90's. Basically everybody knew him and loved his songs, usually singing ballads with Jazzy undertones. He became filthy rich off his singer career, now owning multiple buildings and set for life. But he used to appear on this show about... basically immature single manchildren celebrities. He's long been inactive and living off his properties, but that show was something of a return for him, where he would build fucking insane contraptions that would usually cost excessive amount of money. The show itself became huge based on his crazy antics, and his mother usually looking upon his antics with severe disappointment and retorts.

Recently, however, his dad passed away, which prompted him to get his shit together and find himself a mate. He finds a fairly young ... newscaster I wanna say? I don't remember. But she's pretty cute, and they recently got married, which made for a hit episode on that show. Of course being in his 50's and acting like a child with way too much money under his belt as well as drinking excessively everyday, turns out he's sexually assaulted numerous women in various bars. They've more or less previously left him alone to rot by himself, but now that they see that he's found happiness in marriage, they've come out of the woodworks and sought to expose him for his behaviors. There are so many claims with evidence to the point where the entire Korean community at this point has turned against him (initially he had quite a good portion of supporters due to having diehard legacy fans), and his career that he's revitalized due to the aforementioned show is already over. He's cancelled in every affiliated shows and tours, and the show he helped popularized as deleted every episode with him or his mom off the internet.

I guess if you're single and a manchildren and have a ton of money and a drunk... ~20 years is a long time lol. I'm honestly shocked nobody saw this coming. Ok, me included, but I always had an inkling that he probably didn't exact live a purely innocently manchild-esque life. He'd make crazy contraptions with his literal mountains soju bottles (once built an admittedly pretty sick christmas tree made from hangers and soju bottles), and he would have a huge drone collection, just about owning every model of drones seemingly ever made. He also has really expensive figures and literally owns that entire apartment that he's living in which lets him make all sorts of modifications to his abode pretty freely.

He's... also actually a pretty good musician lol. I grew up on his music, so it's a pretty big shock for me to see this all go down. Not the biggest surprise since he probably lived a massively hedonistic life. But I guess you can't ever really escape your past freely if you're a public figure that people actually care about. Thought I'd make a topic on it though, because I found it to be an interesting story. A lesson on how it's best to just live a crime-less life, cuz if you actually end up finding happiness, it might suddenly slip away from your fingers the moment the past catches up to you. No confirmation yet as to whether or not his newlywedded wife will divorce him so soon after their marriage, and he's also pursuing lawsuit against his initial accuser
