I was balding last year and went to the dermatologist, after a lot of research I decided Id rather be bald and still have a sex drive than still having hair without a sex drive. It doesnt always happen but theres a risk.

I've been taking it for 2 and a half months now. It seems like it's working so far, need more time to tell how effectively though. No side effects whatsoever for now.

Used RU instead ever since without complaint. Been about 6 years now.

Unused it for a while and never got any of the side effects. Problem was it just didn't do much and I decided to just buzz my head instead.

i had no side effects from taking it for 15 years other than itchy scalp at times.

i think the people it effects is small, I certainly wasnt one that had issues.

but it really only helps maintain what you have.

its best to take when you FIRST see the receding hairline.

you can just get finasteride as a generic instead of the propecia brand name.

the generic I got was about $10 for a monthly supply but check your insurance b/c its usually cheaper to do 3 month mail order supply instead.

last i checked the propecia was $80

i fortunately still have my hair at the moment, but assuming i got my dad's side's genes, this is something i'm definitely gonna have to start seriously looking into within the next few years

I never have taken it but I have a friend who currently takes finasteride. It seems to work for him. His hairline stopped receding and even recovered. And he says it doesn't affect his sex drive but it might be different for other people depending on their lifestyle.

Always a constant buzzing nuts ache after a week that lasts a few weeks. Everyone will have their prostate greatly shrink. After a month, decreasing erections to eventually a complete inability. Painful nips by 2 months. This is where I always quit. Would make a full recovery after a month but I hear many aren't so lucky. I don't personally know anyone that was able to take it without noticeable side effects.

You can buy the generic, use an online coupon, and get a 3 month supply for $19. I've taken brand name and 2 generics.

RU58841 is just as effective. Instead of nuking your hormones internally like finasteride, it's a topical that attaches to the androgen receptors in your hair follicles so that testosterone cannot.

Sure there are a few suppliers online. $40 for a month of solution. I buy 5 months of powder to mix for $100. It really soothes that scalp itch that's from inflammation of T still getting to a follicle. Mine comes back when I get lazy and miss a few days. I doubt a single follicle could be lost on fin+RU.

Of course anyone considering should always do their research and discover if it's right for their lab, though.
