So spear men can both THRUST with their long, hard, pointy wooden objects and can sweep it around too.

I forgot that.

I take everything back positive I ever fucking said about this game.
I dunno if it's the fact it's on PC or not but the mikiri counter should NOT make me dodge to the fucking left, counter it, not raise the fucker's posture and have them do the thrust into fucking open air while I do the counter animation to the side.

That fuckin thrust. Every time Id get far enough away to heal, he'd home in on me and put me right back in the same position. You really gotta find your moments with him

Hold the control stick forward and circle when you mirai counter. Works better than holding it to the left.

I can counter fine. It literally puts me to the side whenever I counter the spear thrust of those dudes in white. Like Sekiro does the counter, steps on where the spear should be but his animation is left of where the dude is, the dude goes into the animation that shows he's countered but no posture increase.

I have no idea how many shinobi hunters there are but all three of the spear dudes in the memory did the same thing.

Also I got my face slashed by a spinning twinblade dude in the temple. I stopped playing in the temple because it got too easy for me after killing lightning man in the castle.
I was wrong about it being too easy

I heard the "high monk" skill is quite good.
I... I did not know how good.
Purple monkey dishwasher one armed swords man has high monk. I have high monk. He high monks. I high monks. He gets stabbed.

This game is now easy again.
