It's amazing that Rogue Leader was so good in only 9 months of dev time, but RS3 mostly sucked. The on foot missions are pretty bland and the ATST missions are also boring. The flying missions are still really good, but there's so few of them and a lot of them have on-foot shit mixed in with them. Plus on the commentary, they had to cut out a lot of flight mission content due to time.
At least the game still look AMAZING >_> The waterfall base, Dantooine, and the bombed out city all look great. Plus it has fun multiplayer and the entirety of Rogue Leader Too bad we'll probably never see a Rogue Squadron collection released since EA and Disney stopped making decent Star Wars games regularly anymore --- ... I only have RS2, should I seek out RS1 before playing it? imo, Rogue Squadron 1 is the best one. It's on steam and works great with controller support. You don't have to play them in any order though. All of them are self contained and you only need movie knowledge from episodes 4-6 to get any context. RS2 is half movie content and half original missions while RS1 is 90% original content, which is kinda why I like it more >_> --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

RS1 is easily the most fun. RS2 is amazing but imo suffers a bit due to following the OT too closely, while RS1 is more original and leaves the movie-based stuff to the bonus missions

I liked SFA though It's not too bad, but that's not what Star Fox is supposed to be. Plenty of ground games, Star Fox is about aerial/space combat. --- I used the knife. I saved a child. I won a war. God forgive me. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Will we ever get a Rogue Squadron / Rogue Leader remaster on the PS4 ? Those games were ace.

Hmm. But aren't the "Rogue Things" rights held by the greedy clutches of Nintendo ? Or this was only back then ? Unless they fall under overall "Star Wars" rights altogether.

Always thought it was janked up that a 30 year old Jedi Starfighter in that game had the same sonic mines as Boba Fett's Slave I for no apparent reason. Nowhere in the canon or EU has it been a fact that those fighters were equipped with those things.
