Do you consider a candidate's gender or ethnicity when deciding who gets your vote?

I tend to vote for people who share the same ideals as I do and gender nor ethnicity matters to me when it comes to that.

Huh? Simple. Crook or not, despicable or not, moron or not. Lately, the major political parties don't seem to have a selection process for "not". Come on, 2016, a reality TV "personality" vs. Hil/billy scam artists? If this was a soap opera, it would be unbelievable, you can't make stuff like this up.

It's all about policy and willingness to listen to your constituents over the lobbyists.

I mean, its part of who they are as a person so I guess?

I dont think I would ever vote or not vote for someone just because of their sex or gender though. It would be based on their stances and the impression I get about them as a person overall.

No. Nipped any chance of that becoming a thing for me over a decade ago during my first election. The vacuous arguments lobbed between candidates of differing minority statuses was enough to make me ignore stuff like that for good.

On a side note, if Cory Booker thinks that his attempt to whine about debate requirements being racist is going to pan out in his favor, he's sorely mistaken. Policy is king this time around, as it should be.
