Last I heard it was still under the tentative title "Rhythm of War"

move all remaining groundhog mercenaries to the front lines. Have sheep troopers squadrons A and B flank the cows. They're using DC-17 hoof blasters.

No announced title yet.

With Peace Talks finally coming out I hope Butcher gets a chance to revisit Cinder Spires. First book was pretty solid

We'll probably know later today. It's Sanderson's birthday, so State of the Sanderson is coming.

I really didn't like Cinder Spires, but I don't know why :/

Don't rush, tbqh. They're big books, but read them at your own pace. Each one is basically split up into three for easy breaks.

Also note that there's going to be a significant gap(IIRC 4-5 years) between the release of books 5 and 6, so you'll have time to catch up.

Ive been reading it for a couple years now lol. Ill read it for a bit then put it down and come back to it after a few months. I really enjoy the story but sometimes I get burnt out on it.

100% fair. I'd call Stormlight the exception just because Sanderson is so damn consistent and open with his fans.

Senlin Ascends, an absolutely bizarre series that has managed to be incredibly unique and powerful.

I was pretty salty about Gentlemen Bastards. That last book was a complete snooze fest.

Oh if there was ever an author that would convince me to give an in-progress series a try, it would absolutely be Brandon Sanderson. Dude is a machine with how quickly he writes and is the most transparent author I've seen. I'll probably wait for one more Stormlight book to be out then give his stuff outside of the first Mistborn trilogy a go.

Yeah it was not great. I really don't remember any of it aside from the ending and one plot twist, and those haven't been followed up on at all because the next book has taken so damn long.

The great thing about Stormlight is all the books are somewhat self contained. They are all part of a bigger arc, but are very satisfying to read on their own. I highly recommend starting.
