I dunno Mega Man games are mostly pretty easy, except for a handful of encounters in the early games before they were balancing things well, but other than Lost Levels or SMB2J or whatever, Mario games aren't really that hard, either. Of course if you use the pause glitch in MM1 and menu glitch in MM2 those games are super, super easy. Dunno if we are allowed to use glitches in this discussion or not. >_>
I never played much Castlevania, so I really have sucked at it when I tried but can't really gauge it. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

No. However Mario is a way better designed game, those ladder games often using cheap tactics in order to increase gameplay time. Especially Megaman.
