Yeah, Falcon mirrors are super volatile, which I guess is why they're so fun. Up air is definitely one of Falcon's best moves.

Also I just noticed ZSS does a little bounce at the end of flip kick. That one ZSS player I played on stream escaped getting down smashed thanks to that little bounce.

Ridley really is too big, lol

while his moves have great coverage and range, they're just too slow and high commitment in a game dominated by speed and whoever has the best frame data

Ridley's just too big of a target, without any edge or X-factor to make up for it. any gimmick, constant projectiles like isabelle's pots and slingshot, or any other janky shit will basically eat him for free

Isabelle kinda bodies big characters except maybe Bowser. Combination of the sling and rod can make heavies without speed life a bit difficult. Otoh Ridley is really good at edgeguarding Isabelle too if she's forced to use her upB.
