I actually can't really remember that many standout performances in SW in general. Harrison Ford was at his prime and charming it up as the one guy not fully connected to everything that's going on. Ewan McGregor is pretty much the first thing I ever remember about the prequels and deserved more love in the new trilogy. Heck, I don't even know which performance in particular was better. I think Ewan McGregor actually had a lot less to work with. I dunno precisely which came first but Han Solo was clearly likable aside from Harrison Ford.
