Romo My Life on the Edge: Living Dreams and Slaying Dragons

Bill Romanowski's autobiography. He talks a lot about overcoming injuries and finding strength in a bunch of different ways and I so, so needed that in my late 20s. I read the book 3 times as I got a lot more healthy, it was very helpful.

Never Eat Alone, just a self-help book on how to communicate better and the importance of forming relationships with people.

It's mostly super common sense stuff but I was just so riddled with social anxiety that even the most basic pointers on something like "how to make small talk" were super beneficial to me.

I will definitely say yes. I randomly picked up a fantasy book when I was like 10 years old. I was hooked on the genre from there. That has been my main genre I've read ever since. It only takes one book to make a difference.

Ok, to be fair the message I got from it was less "You should totally bang your close family members" and more "It's ok to be a weird little deviant"
