I was listening to music on my headphones, but then for a few minutes, it was pausing and starting tracks, switching tracks, changing the volume, activating Google voice commands on its own. I restarted it and it kept doing that for a few minutes and then stopped.

Was it the headphones doing it or just a quirk or an actual virus? I downloaded something called BitDefender Free and ran a scan and it said I was good. But I'm still paranoid >_>

It might be your headphones. I have a pair that does that sometimes randomly.

Probably the headphones imo. I havent had ALL of the stuff you described happen to me, but I have had stuff like the volume raising and lowering, changed headphones, and the problem stopped.

Or it could have malware, idk, dont trust me. But it easily could just be the headphones.

Did you get a drop of water on the screen and not notice? That happened to me once and it called my dad like 15 times in a row. He freaked out and thought I was getting killed or something.

I was messing on the screen in the rain for a minute and my headphone controls have a hole in it. Maybe that's what caused it.

well, damn.

next thing I would do is google the problem and see if others are experiencing the same issue.

after that, factory reset.

I was going to ask, were they wireless or audio jack headphones? Cuz I've seen it happen with wireless ones before.
