I've had it since Christmas and have yet to put it in my Switch and actually play it. It looks good and I know this is nitpicking but I always liked the sprites from the 3DS games more than the 3D models when you see the overworld map. I hope there's some option to change that.

Hope you enjoy FETH TC.You can choose between 4 story paths very early in the game and depending on which you chose your starting allies and story path will mostly, or completely be determined for the entire playthrough.

Between story events every month if you are thorough and take the time to increase Byleth's stats and prowess high enough in various categories and establish and develop bonds with other characters and make the right choices, you can end up recruiting almost all of the characters from the other houses and the church. However depending on which house you chose a few key characters from some houses and possibly the church may not be recruitable or may even leave your house and become enemies.

Out of the three houses I recommend starting with Golden Deer as it's story reveals the truth behind some of the misconceptions of the other paths and it is closest to a traditional FE story for the most part in what transpires.
