The one new model with better battery was so recent I thought Id be safe for a bit

Toto suggested a retail price of $399, with 4K support, bigger cartridge sizes, and of course beefed-up components.

I really don't believe that Nintendo will release a edition of the Switch that will make the original Switch obsolote
They didn't do it with the 3DS (besides like 15 games at max) and they are not going to do it here

Yeah there's no way they're gonna ruin the massive cash cow they have going now. You would still need to make games with both models in mind so why bother?

Having a model that can play those games at least at 1080p 60fps feels like a good enough reason to me! I'd drop money for this in a heartbeat if it meant stuff like Astral Chain and BotW wouldn't be hamstrung by the hardware.

I've always been a fan of the Switch HEAVY.

No portable support, makes lots of noise and heat, takes up the space of at least a PS4.

That's what the New 3DS was supposed to be, but instead it just meant we got games that were basically unplayable on the original 3DS.
