There's no way that came about in any way OTHER than some bored kid fucking with the character creator sliders and trying to make the most ridiculous creation imaginable. Second, what he says... or should I say, his dialogue trees. Again, the person playing this game is probably some bored, edgy kid trying to pick the worst dialogue options possible for shits and giggles. A lot of it is exactly what an immature teen would say to try and derail the conversation. However... (Third) the game world bends over backward for him to keep him from failing, no matter how many stupid fucking decisions he's made. Dude fell upward into the presidency. That's gotta be a scripted event. It's like the Earthgame equivalent of Link fishing for days while Hyrule waits on you -- it is impossible to fail so hard that you actually lose. And the guy 100% knows there are no consequences either. Finally, this explains his total lack of empathy. None of the people he interacts with are real, and he knows it. This also explains why he's so unabashedly hot for his daughter -- there's no actual familial connection besides the backstory the game forced on him. Conclusion: we are pieces of data in the most sophisticated video game we can possibly imagine, mere entertainment for a more advanced species.
