Its as exhausting as you make it

plenty of opportunity to just chill at your campsite a 15 minute walk from the venue, or lay down on a blanket in the grass and listen to music from a distance

You pick a number of acts you want to see and skip the rest. Many of them go on at the same time at different stages.

Tbh security at Bonnaroo is some of the least noticeable security Ive ever seen

the have you go through metal detectors on your way in and then youre golden inside as long as youre not literally murdering people

So you were there when I was there in 2012? I was in the pit for Foster the People, Mac Miller, and Childish Gambino<img src="//:0">. Festival changed my outlook something fierce.

I went in 2017 and 2018, I skipped last year because the line up wasn't great imo (pretty much would have been going for childish Gambino)

Not sure if I'm going this year

2013 was my first year. I know it sounds stupid to people whove never been but yeah it was a life changing experience

To me, 2017 was easily the worst lineup theyve ever had (although U2 was incredible) and theyve been steadily getting better since

2019 was maybe the best overall year Ive been to, because even if the lineup wasnt the best, the weather was absolutely perfect and the schedule lined up almost perfectly for my tastes
