Daigo has always had talent, obviously, but his real edge was that he always went in hardcore with practice and experimentation. Nowadays, that's a more common thing with fighting game fans. Hell, I spent 3 hours just making sure I could get Abel's links right in SF4. That might sound crazy to casuals, but that's just what you fuckin' do to win online beyond trash ranks. A lot of people want to see him at the top again, but the best always has declines at some point. He still gets into top 8's easily and SFV hasn't really had a steady person that has dominated throughout He's still very well in the mix.
