The killing happened after Rouhselang, a cheerleader and junior at Mishawaka High School, told Trejo that she was six months pregnant, authorities said. Trejo, then 16 and a member of the school's football team, was alleged to be the father, and neither of them wanted to have the child, according to court documents. Sure there's the slight possibility he uses prison to smarten himself up and be a good member of his prison's community (unlikely especially if it gets out that he's a baby, even unborn, killer) but he'll likely never be beneficial to the society paying for him. Sure there's the slight possibility he uses prison to smarten himself up and be a good member of his prison's community (unlikely especially if it gets out that he's a baby, even unborn, killer) but he'll likely never be beneficial to the society paying for him. Not saying the death penalty applies here it's just weird to think of sentencing someone that long when you know they're going to die in prison. tbh there's no telling what things are going to be like that long from now.
