I usually wouldn't make a topic like this but I haven't had an album move me this much in quite a while. From the hard-hitting metal of Bloodmoney & I Disagree to some of the most beautifully crafted & relatable pop moments I've ever heard in songs like Sick of the Sun, Fill the Crown, or Anything Like Me, this album is a fountain of creativity and experimentation that just really touched me to the soul.

If anyone's heard it, what do you think? I just really want it to get a lot of exposure, I hope people give it a try if they haven't yet!

It's pretty good! My initial impression is it's her best album. Some good bangers and clever lyrics like you mentioned. I think stuff like Concrete is TOO high-concept for it's own good, though the joke on that song is pretty funny, it doesn't really work for me as a song (sick chorus though).

It's still a little surreal to me that she was able to transition so well to pop music from her bizarre youtube channel.

I'll have to check this out later. Haven't been into her older music but her whole "thing" has been pretty intriguing, and the recent singles were fun. Do we know if titanic Sinclair was involved on this album? She recently split with him (for good reason) but I wonder how much he contributed to her music

He does have writing credits on all songs on the album, but I don't really know to what extent. A lot of the album feels like direct a response to his controlling and manipulative nature so it might not be much involvement, but that's just my speculation.

I know! I've been a Poppy fan for awhile and while I did think her early albums like Poppy.Computer and the Bubblebath EP were decent enough, Am I a Girl? definitely drew much more of my attention. And then the whole last year was just one amazing release after the next for me.

Yeah they had already produced some songs and music videos before the split was announced recently. Not sure if he still directed the videos but Sinclair does appear to have writing credits on the songs. So this is probably her last project with him contributing.

hopefully she can keep up the momentum without him. as shitty of a person as titanic is, it does seem like he had a lot of good ideas. shame that he's an abusive ass.

Some of her songs pop up on my Spotify every now and then but Ive never gotten around to just listening to an album.

Gotta listen to Georgia first but Ill make her second on my list.
