Have any of you heard the new story going around in right wing circles about rashida tlaib? This one has her having a rally of some sort near some location where communion was being given. The story has her taking a wafer and then walking away with it afterwards without eating it.

The guy telling me this (a Trump supporter) had this wide eyed expression, inferring he believes this story is true.

What...what is that story even supposed to be getting at? That she just straight up stole the metaphorical body of Christ to do something with it?

Basically yes. Anything to further demonize a Muslim, Democrat politician. Just further thinking about it makes even less sense.

I mean, it's not like those wafers are produced in the Vatican. Companies produce them in bulk in order to sell them to churches. They're symbolic, but they're literally just Christ-branded slices of bread.

What the fuck is she going to do with a communion wafer? Even if she were to desecrate it for some stupid reason, it wouldn't matter because it's one wafer out of a 500-pack sold in bulk. There's nothing special about the wafer itself.

There was a drunk cop who held a black family at gunpoint in their Air BnB. And your take-away was that people shouldn't be offended by words because he used the n-word.

I've seen other topics where you have said people need to not be offended by words/name calling.

And then in a topic about the scalding hot coffee-McDonald's lawsuit, you took the side of McDonald's and some user was giving you a hard time about it. I responded sarcastically "Hey now, that's progress. It's the first time that particular user has supported something black" and you your response was something to the extent of "First of all you don't know me and you don't know what the fuck you are talking about".

So it seems ironic that you make these statements about people not getting upset or offended by what people say and then proceed to get upset and offended when people say things about you.

And I know your response is going to be "Well where's your evidence" and act like you never said that knowing that the topics have been purged by now.

And I will always stand by that, and yes, if people are going to assume shit about me then yes, yes, Im going to clap back and Im in no way offended by what anyone here or anywhere says. Its principle. People act like they know me, theyre gonna sit down.

and honestly guys, im done with the 14 thing....you all have proven to not want to actually talk about that so Im gonna chalk that up with the Charlottesville thing as people pretending to know what theyre talking about.
