I bought a brand new car about 6 months ago. I obviously shopped around and the dealer that was 3 hours away had the cheapest price, so bought it there.
For my state inspection, I brought it to the closest dealer to my house, because I also wanted them to take a look at something (window problems). During the pre-authorization stage, the service advisor said that because I bought the car from them, they will waive the inspection fee. I asked for clarification. They said they offer their customers lifetime free state inspections. ..........should I tell them it's a mistake? Or just ride this out for however many years it'll take them to correct it? --- ... Honestly, now days if a shop offers to patch a tire vs sell you on a new one, I'd keep them around
