No. That isn't how that works. Recovering from anything flu can require 2-3 weeks for a full clinical recovery. It can remain in the system still providing some minor symptoms up to 3 months. There are far more infected than those that died. The fact that this early in there is already almost as many cured as dead shows that the symptoms may not last for a long time. This means over the next few weeks it is highly likely that the number of recovered vs dead will skyrocket as people begin to hit the medium length of recovery.

So what you're saying is not a single person who's gotten the coronavirus has recovered yet...

Just ordered a bunch of masks. They might not be 100% effective but it's better to have them. Ordered 60 adult ones and 20 children ones. The shop on taobao I ordered from sold over 20,000 of them this month (likely most in the last few days) and they are a good price. They are the kind with the filter.

They say you should cut up your old masks and dispose of them in the hazardous trash so people don't reuse or try to sell old masks.

Yep, its pretty telling that many of the users spreading misinformation ITT are ignoring the posts that are trying to be accurate and logical.

Many of these users just keep posting YouTube videos and links pointing out potential new cases. Not many are taking about how many of the deaths have been older people with underlying health conditions or how the virus is spreading so fast in China is because of the cities being densely packed with people. But nah, theyre just going to ignore those details just like how most of them are going to ignore this post.

As of right now, its still much weaker than SARS but I suppose were all going to die anyways from this. The world has never encountered anything like it before. Were not prepared to handle Coronavirus at all.

He's quoting "infected" numbers with deaths. The last number I read said 5000 infected, 56 dead.

Which...if these numbers are true, ngl, is fairly low considering how people are freaking out about it. Wuhan is home to 11 Million people, in a country of 1 Billion. It's really not that a huge amount at the moment, even if the results sound scary for how fast its spreading.
