If Amazon's close association with police departments to help them sell cameras to folks wasn't creepy enough, it seems your Ring camera routinely shares private, personally identifiable data with 3rd parties without any way to opt out:
https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2020/01/amazons-ring-app-shares-loads-of-your-personal-info-report-finds/

A couple of the commenters on that article referenced a Ring blog story where all negative comments get deleted, leaving only comments that seem to repeat Ring's own position as a company and push for more Ring adoption in their area:
https://blog.ring.com/2019/08/28/working-together-for-safer-neighborhoods-introducing-the-neighbors-active-law-enforcement-map/

I realize that many people have a benign experience with Ring where people share and laugh at videos that don't mean anything, but please take a moment and consider Ring's business practices, your privacy, and the overall impact of the technology on society.

Looks like the main concern is whether you have the phone app. A lot of the data they're leaking is what they access from your phone, it seems.

Assuming this isn't a joke post, you could always remove it and get something else if you don't want it.
