Based on the retroactive timeline they invented for the games after the fact because fans wouldn't shut the fuck up about it, the only games I acknowledge the existence of all happened in the timeline where Link fails in Ocarina of Time.

So the Hero of Time didn't marry anyone, because he's dead in a ditch somewhere.

I think Zelda is out, as she's got her own thing going on. I think the three sages are also out. (one is basically a forever child, one is a princess zora, and one is much older). Plus they have their sage duties or whatever probably... So, Malon seems to be the right choice...

Actually Saria is not a 'Forever Child'. Kokiri are given eternal youth due to living within the forest and within the power of the Great Deku Tree. However if they were to leave the forest they would age normally and 'die' as a result. Especially since they seem to stop aging right around 12 and we see that adults who enter the forest are turned into stalfos instead of kokiri. In other words, if Saria wanted to grow up, all she'd have to do is leave the forest. That would mean that, if she ever returned and the forest's magic claimed her, she would become a Stalfos instead of a kokiri once again.

Not saying that means she's 'a-okay', but just dispelling that myth.

Also, the zora do appear to be either amphibians or monotremes at the best. The evidence suggests amphibians since the Rito also lay eggs. So if Link were to marry Ruto they could not have children. However, oddly the Zora seem to have something resembling mammary glands. These may serve another purpose though... I'm not sure.

I did say basically... And techinaclly, I think they were fine after the sprout was born. They went to party at the ranch, right? At least, the internet said so... Also, I thought they people turned into trees in the forest. But I may be remembering wrong. I just remember a theory about the tree Link is in may have been his mom. But whatever...

As for the Zoras, I do know they lay eggs due to MM. I don't know if they have multiple ways to have babies, though...

Well, after doing some quick research into the clothing habits of both Zora and Rito, I'd think that they're actually mammals. Monotremes to be specific (egg-laying mammals). That makes the most sense considering that their females also have things that resemble breasts and rito females seem to act like they are a sexual organ. Since Rito evolved from Zora that IMPLIES that Zora organs are breasts as well. It's not definative especially since they could be something else, but them being monotremes seems more consistent with what we've seen.

I always heard about this like it's a magic curse of the forest...

But there's a different take... ... people just die, and decompose, and eventually leave bones (which become stalfos). Something that would be foreign and worthy of mythology to the Kokiri
