The unemployment rate is a fucking lie.

The whole concept of unemployment is so fucking stupid to me. Like, who cares if people are employed. I care if they are able to live dignified lives with the wages they make. Often these trumped-up employment numbers simply mean there are more people living in misery.

Yes, the segment immediately following that one is about real wages, historical and present, and very much worthwhile. I've only seen the first half so far.

trump said the economy is the best its ever been

"but growth is less than before"

lowered growth doesn't mean that it's not the highest level it has ever been,and doesn't at all counter what he said.

he says unemployment is the at lowest it has been since X and they counter with "but it was already going down", which again doesn't make what he said wrong. people don't seem to understand what a "fact" is.
