Upon leaving office, President Dwight Eisenhower warned about the Military Industrial Complex and his concern was America was going to be involved in conflicts for decades to come and he was right. When WW2 ended, America was suddenly involved in conflict in Korea. When that ended, Vietnam began and that lasted until the mid 1970s.

Then in the 1980s, Grenada happened and in the 1990s onward America has been in conflict in the Middle East.

I would not have a beer with Trump or Hillary, though, because neither of them seem like particularly pleasant people. Somehow, 2016's election ended up with neither candidate being able to pass the beer test, which is just sad.

Until you make at least some effort to move toward a less capitalistic society, you're only supporting the elite that are conspiring against you. Unchecked (or at least inadequately checked) capitalism is how they maintain that power.

How does communism combat against elitism? If anything, that system would encourage it. Also, capitalism by itself does not result in elitism, as it is merely the verbal expression of "free trade". Countries develop laws to prevent the ability for any individual to sell something purely on the basis that they have the means to do so, which is what cause monopolies and strangle innovation. After personally assessing the concepts at hand, that's the conclusion I've come to.

Is Fox News the only network capable of brainwashing? Also, even if you're correct, that means nothing. The right to vote means that there is no expectation for a voter to be informed before casting their ballot, brainwashed or not.
