I'm so glad it was just a dream.

It was a dream whether I helped some guy blow up the top floors of a building. I got away from it initially but this middle aged hall of fame football player/coach type figure was on to me.

Some cards from my wallet were left at the scene of the crime. I had picked it up and was walking out and the guy at the place (the first floor was a diner) was asking me questions about it. The cards had my face and name on it (some ids and some credit cards). I made up an excuse but he caught me in the lie and Then he said oh you probably left it a few weeks ago.

The coach guy was friendly because we had met prior with me at first then noticed that he was on to me but still kept it cordial he knew something was suspicious. It's like in a movie where someone is talking nice in a conversation but noticed something fishy, they know what you had done.

Crazy dream in glad it was just a dream

Sounds like a variant of the "random terrorism mission" dream. Apparently very common.

For me, I always find a business card telling me to go x and do y, which always results in fiery destruction of property at a minimum.
