Yes I understand that modern society in the US has this unsustainable cultural mess going on right now, but the rest of the world, like 95% or more, do not have any problems with such mundane facts.

How does this thread have 300 posts? Are people actually mad that submitting non-disputes wont get your moderation overturned?

Like I could even agree with someone that the other person deserved it, but it doesnt matter since thats not a dispute. Neither is posting the moderation reason word-for-word, because it just shows that you think disputing is playing the lottery. Its not, and Ive seen plenty of questionable deletions overturned when the user actually read the rule and gave a good reason for why their post wasnt against the rules.

Why is it so hard for people to conformed to what this websight wants you to be? Yall been here long enough to know.

I get the emotional reaction to unfair mods and similar shit but after a few hours you should have all gotten over it by now and moved on to literally anything else. This is not something worth lingering for days.

Will they ever implement the option to Ignore mods? I don't need to block them, since I understand the issues that could cause, but I'd really love to not see posts from certain individuals.

You can almost predict how GameFAQs will end up in the long run, lol. Now that user feedback has become something for site runners to poke fun of, lol. Publicly, even. That's where this site is now.

Even when the complaints are similar from people who don't even usually agree with each other on anything else, lol.

The only kind of oversight they had was when you could push the dispute all the way to admin, as far as i can tell now they have literally nothing

Disputes are decided by vote now. Tbh Id love to still give a response to a dispute but given the fact that you can have many mods weighing in on a dispute via voting the dispute response doesnt exist anymore.

I'm not familiar with what topic or users you're talking about. I looked up the one imp account you said was made to harass you and that account is suspended.

I'm not gonna be your pocket mod so if you marked the messages it'll eventually get reviewed by a moderator and they will decide what action to take. I also recommend you making use of the ignore/block feature if these users bother you as well.

Once you mark the message, your part of the process is over. If your marks are not being handled then:

1. You are impatient as fuck. Constantly posting "OMFG WHY STILL UP????!11!!1shift+1" isn't going to make it faster.
2. What you mark isn't actually a violation and are posts you personally dislike (which is what the ignore feature is for).

One thing I would like to know though, is what happens if you guys get a bad moderator who himself is a troll and abuses his modding privileges?

Is there any system in place to detect and remove modding privileges from said hypothetical mod?

If somebody post a moderation word for word, they're likely hoping for transparency and specifics, not cookie-cutter answers devoid of nuance or "explanations" that don't fit the situation.

Maybe some of these site rules could use some rephrasing so the lines aren't so blurry.

So MrKapowski I did a quick skim of that topic just to see what was actually done, and people are being moderated and you are also egging them on yourself and engaging in yelling at them back rather than marking the message and moving on. You become part of the problem yourself at this point.

Also, I highly recommend instead of telling people 'ignore/block me if you have a problem with me' that you just go ahead and follow your own advice and block these people yourself as well.

First line of the board rules: GameFAQs reserves the right to remove any content that is not in the best interests of the site or its visitors. So right off the bat its made clear that the rules listed are basic guidelines. Which is all they can be, because we cannot list every possible situation where you can be modded. The rules used to be lengthier but their most recent iteration was condensed for easier reading.

You prolly won't get away with it like on a gameboard or if you spam it, though. But do it once for shits and giggles on a social board and you'll have no issues. Depends on the mod.

Every action a moderator does is tracked and if a moderator was abusing the powers it would be quickly caught and the moderator removed form their position.

If you'd answer my questions I could uncover some abusive mods. I really don't believe I could depend on the admin to police you given how I got moderated for something you implied I could do for a possible unlisted rule.
