I think so. Think about executions. I'd rather have my head cut off than be injected or electrocuted. But it would be too gruesome for onlookers even though it would be the quickest death on my end

IIRC one part of the reasoning for the concentration camp gas chambers was cause they figured it would be too mentally taxing on the executioners if they just shot them.
