At a large reward?

like if you go to McDonalds are you more likely to fill out a survey on the receipt if you get a free order of fries or if youre entered for a chance to win $5000?

Back in high school my friends and I would fill out the ones for free food and play rock-paper-scissors for who got to use them the next time we went out.

ive never filled out the other kind.

I'm more inclined to download a app if it offers a discount on food or a free pint so I guess surveys would be no different.

Years ago, I used to fill them out regardless of the reward. Now, I only fill them out for stores and services I give a shit about because I dont care about the reward. If I get money out of it, great. Its usually just them harvesting data to sell online to advertisers.

Yeah, some lady came to my house and asked me to fill out a survey, got paid 70$ in cash on the spot after doing it.

It made me think differently about all surveys.

Neither. I never get just fries so it just complicates a simple order I don't mind buying in the first place and a low chance large reward feels so unlikely that it elicits no emtion from me so I can't engage.

I don't do either, but If it was good enough i'd do it for a small reward. I don't have luck, I don't win things, so I would never do it for a chance at something.

multiple times a week I get emails to fill out questionnaires from different departments around my university. They all give you a change to win a cool prize, but I figured theres no chance Id ever win. Maybe I should start responding.

I resent them trying to incentivize me to do their bullshit surveys. I'd really only ever fill out a survey about something I'm pissed about in order to complain which rarely happens.

I take surveys as part of 2 programs I found online. After I build up points, one trades me Amazon GC's and the other for GS. They're a good way to make use of ad breaks on TV.

The free stuff... If it's something I want, or a place I go to often enough. If it's somewhere I rarely go, there's a chance the freebie might expire before I get to use it. And if it's something I don't like, then there would be no point... Unless I give it to a friend or relative. While I would like the chance to win a bunch of money, I don't think I would...
