How'd you manage to pull it off? I'm a professional writer and marketing professional. When I started writing on Medium I'd already been blogging and studying copywriting and marketing for years. I also had a large social media following already. I started writing on the site regularly in October and my first month got a viral article that did over 1.5 million views. Since then I've had a couple other viral articles and regularly get 20,000-30,000 views a month to my articles. I've also had multiple articles published in their publications and curated by the site. Medium changed their payment algorithm in November right after I started so they switched from paying you for claps (their version of "likes") and now pay you for read time.
