It's the last DLC wave of the season pass. It's a 7 chapter long side story involving the secret fourth house called "Ashen Wolves". I liked this side story quite a bit. On Hard/Classic, it took me about 10 hours to complete. Much more difficult than Hard/Classic in the main story of Three Houses. This felt more like Maddening difficulty(highest difficulty) in some ways. I had to strategize a lot more than usual and I actually saw the Game Over screen for the first time in my 200+ hour with this game. Since you have a set class of characters, you really have to make the most of them. I was doing things I never did in the main story. It was fun. Music is superb, too.

The new characters in the DLC become recruitable in the main story along with new paralogues and supports so it looks like I'm doing another playthrough of this game. I'm not sure if Koei Tecmo or Intelligent Systems worked on this DLC. As you may know, KT did most of the work on Three Houses. I want to say IS since some of the writing felt like it came from Awakening or Fates but who knows.

I'm curious about something. Is Byleth referred to as an "Ashen Demon" at some point in the DLC story? Just curious since that's Byleth's Boxing Ring title in Smash Bros. and it'd be hilarious if they put in some kind of spoiler for something that wasn't out yet.

Not that I remember. I only remember Byleth being referred to as the Ashen Demon in the main story but it was never a focus. Just chatter among generic NPCs and occasionally, the students would talk about the title.

Byleth is refered as "The Ashen Demon" for their mercenary tittle, and again in some routes post time skip.
