maybe not 2020 but if texas continues to have the blue surge it's been having a 2024 blue texas is very possible

The state has been trending blue for a while now, but its still a few cycles from being a tipping-point state. However, it is plausible that the Democratic candidate could win it in a wave, which would have unprecedented consequences down-ballot. Its worth remembering Virginia was a red state just 12 years ago(and that just four years ago the idea of a Republican carrying Pennsylvania was implausible outside of a landslide.)
