this general is intended to be a social topic where ce users can discuss things of interests to ourselves. the theme is based on the new (and undoubtedly amazing) season of survivor featuring an all winners cast which is of particular interest to me at the moment and i am assuming machete may also be watching?

anyway, feel free to discuss anything of interest or how things are going in general. i am also currently interested in the democratic nomination process and hope that bernie can pull it out

Ive heard of these fire tokens and I'm not sure about them...

i thought the fire tokens were ridiculous at first and could end up with too many advantages in the game but i kinda warmed to the concept and it is somewhat clever if nothing else. definitely like it better than the edge of extinction.

we have a new episode tonight and i am super pumped

I'm pretty impressed with it so far, and I say that as someone who hates the edge of extinction twist (somehow though, in an all winner season it just worked. It sucked in its inaugural season though). Not sure who I'm rooting for at this stage. Too many good player to choose from, but I'm liking Yul a lot. It's nice to see someone that socially/strategically dominant play in a season with much tougher competition. I like Denise too. She always seems to find a way to climb the ladder even when she is at the bottom. The Rob and Sandra rivalry is fun and entertaining and I can't wait to see that heat up tonight. I also likes seeing Kim struggle the way she did in the last episode. I did not like her at all in One World, so anything that validates my opinion that she won because the rest of the cast was a bunch of incompetent morons, is more than welcome, and from the first episode, I definitely feel validated so her story arc is off to exactly the start I wanted.

i really cant wait for tonight's episode. i really love that some of the titans of the game seem to be starting in good position and would love to see parvati and tony v make deep runs

That was a good episode. I like the fracturing within that tribe. I was not a fan of the person who was voted out in their previous season, so that was another good boot imo. Sophie got some screen time too so that was nice. She is very underrated imo.

i am super pumped so far tbh. we have 3 boots so far and none of them are the titans of the game imo and we have the best and most interesting players left
