SoIidLegacy 02/19/20 8:57:11 PM #2:	It wasn't really the fact that it was Ben Affleck. It was more the way Batman was portrayed as. Batman is known for being the vigilante who occasionally crosses lines the morally good guys never do or can't, but whatever he does, Batman doesn't kill and doesn't use guns. The few times something like that happened, there was a huge emphasis on the weight of what just happened, that even Batman crossed a certain line. Batman in Dawn of Justice seemed to have completely disregarded that and goes on a violent gunning spree like it's just another day at work. --- The secrets of the ancient world have been unearthed. This Batman has no "no kill" policy. And I gotta say, making Batman crack jokes in JL was not the best way to go. I get that Whedon is probably to blame for this to lessen the overly dark tone of the DCEU, but Flash and Aquaman could handle the gag roles just fine. --- Don't you put that evil on me Ricky Bobby! Every live action version of Batman has killed people (even Adam West). Batfleck is the best live action Batman we've ever got. He'd also kick the kick the shit out of every live action Batman.
