It crosses into disrespectful if you ask, they tell you, then you're like "Well why can't you afford X?" or if you start asking them what they spend their money on --- The name is wackyteen* for a reason. I understand management not wanting you to share it, or if you make an obscene amount of money (comparatively) then you might not want to open yourself up as a target, but realistically why should we not share it? Maybe it's just because I've never worked a civilian job where I didn't/couldn't know what my co-workers were making and I'm just missing a socially understood situation, but I don't get why it shouldn't be shared. --- The name is wackyteen* for a reason.
