[email protected] and [email protected]

I'm tired of receiving emails about accounts that aren't mine, just because they may have my same First and Last. You would think that Instagram would send a verification email to the address used before activating an account, but nooo.

I asked for password reset, and posted on their bios to tell the persons that if they want their accounts back, to email me at the address they THINK is theirs that they use to log in. Then I can change the email to whatever they want, and give it back.

Stupid people. Don't sign up for stuff with an email account that you can't access.

I could access an Instagram account, Facebook, even someone's bank account if I wanted to. Why tf is a bank not making people verify they actually own the email address.

Years ago, I once received a notification from some guy's lawyer about his child support. I emailed his lawyer to contact him on his phone or in person, and let him know of the wrong email.
With the info on the email, my wife and I got into his FB, and he was chatting with some married woman. At some point he left to take a shower, but we kept chatting her up. When he came back, he saw it and said "it must have been my ex! She hacked me!"
