Mainly 2, a backup PayPal card and maybe one more, but I won't count it.
I mainly use my credit card for purchases. It's gotten me so much free stuff.

3. though 1 is an game arcade card. And another is a transport card that's been turned into a semicash card because almost everyone in the city's got one.

I can't imagine anyone NOT having a card for payment/banking/etc unless they're surfing from jail. Or they hide their gold in a fallout bunker.

I have 3 and 3.

If you guys can manage to pay off your monthly balance in full all the time, you should be looking for a rewards card that pays you back between 2-5%.

Using a credit card to buy $20,000 in purchases annually can reward you with $400-$1000 yearly.

However, if a cash payment is offering you more than 5% off, obviously paying with cash is the better choice.

5%? Seriously shopping at discount stores all the time would give you better, if percentage & spending is all you care about. If one is paying off all debts, one should should be buying more assets or bluechips if he/she/xe's got cash to spare anyway. Gaming the volatile debt system sounds like a terrible idea.

Is this the absolute state of murika?

There are tutorials online and its called credit card churning.

How are those blue chip stocks working out for you this month? This is the absolute worst time to suggest buying stocks. Were probably in a bear market for the next 6 months to a year and the stock markets will be contradicting around 20-50%. Youre just throwing out nonsense right now.

I said in the beginning if you are able to pay off your balance you should take advantage of credit card reward programs. If not, definitely budget yourself and work on paying off cc and high interest debt.

If you need to know, I always pay off my credit card balances, no car payments, Trans Union credit score of 830+, own my 2 story house with a $200,000 mortgage.

Most of that shopping is necessary it's not like everyone goes out and buy expensive irrelevant things. Getting a portion back of your spending is nice when buying groceries, paying bills, etc....

Now if said person still lives with parents or something then sure that makes the spending less needed.

Plenty of kids these days only have apple pay. Probably why they started to advertise their own card shortly after.

Idk how anyone can have one form of payment unless it's just cash.

tell me when i care? it's just a self-fwapping scam to encourage people to spend more, and benefits businesses more than real uncorporate people.
