Ok this is mostly just gonna be a post of me parroting some things I agree with in this topic so far. I've spent most of the evening with my SO which is why I only really had time to post a few messages after the day started before disappearing, but I should have all of tomorrow free (thanks in large part to the coronavirus canceling everything on my regular schedule in Seattle).

So, yeah, just a couple of things I wanted to second:

Puns ends on Scare, who he barely tried to lynch. "Supark" does too, except it's a useless vote by the time he gets on "just so his displeasure is noted". Two scum on a meaningless lynch?

It's possible MZero is the only lynch here that doesn't end with scum on it. Puns did not give any significant effort to voting for him and was also on him in that sweet spot around the third vote that scum likes to pop onto building lynches sometimes. Puns could've tossed it there for distance but hopped off because he was actually worried.

I am pondering if Han's lynch could be all-town at the moment.

Crescent raises a lot of very good points in this post. I dunno if I think Han's lynch is all town (still mildly suspicious of Corrik but it's clear to me at the moment that I don't really know how to read him and the reads I thought I had at the end of yesterday may well just be a wash), but it very well could be. DYL confirmed town obvi, and Ben seems about as in-the-clear as you can get without confirmation at this point, so that leaves SBell, who has not really tripped my scumdar at all this game. Might have to go back and refresh my memory on the things he's actually said and done though. The Scare lynch, in hindsight, looks super weak, though I'll admit I have to wonder why two scum would park on the same meaningless lynch at the end of the day when it was pretty damn clear DYL was the way we were going to end up taking the lynch.

Does scum Death act this confused about a fellow scummates clearly joking fake claim? I feel like...no, right? That's more of a town reaction. (Ben believes it too, so he'd get more town points but he's maxed out on account of making puns explode last night)

Even when I didn't know Puns' alignment, I thought Death's reaction here felt more genuinely "confused town" to me, and now that we know Puns was scum I only feel more strongly about that for this very reason.

I'm, uh, still feeling fine with my vote on MZero for now, as he hasn't really contributed anything more of note than if he hadn't shown up at all, which Crescent also mentioned.

Grrr I just had a follow-up post typed up and I clicked a side button on my mouse and lost it.

Cliffs notes version: Basically it was just a post summarizing my feelings on:
- Han (keep vacillating back and forth on my feelings on him; I find myself agreeing with him more often than not but he has seemed a bit too aloof for my own personal comfort
- Red (like that he's more present and is presenting us with more of his reads and actual content now, feels fairly natural to me so far)
- IGCD (I need to go back and read some of his content; I was mildly suspicious of him D1 but then I went back and read through his posts and he seemed fine, if "just kinda there").

The first post was a bit more eloquent than this but I lost it and I'm going to bed soon so yeah this is the gist of what it was

And yes I find myself coming up pretty short on actual SCUM candidates based on legitimate reads, which makes me all the more comfortable to settle on MZero for right now since the fact that I find relatively few people scummy at the moment makes the most inactive person look scummiest to me by default.

Anyways, the bigger fish to fry right now is that Lea, HB, and DYL are not all town. Lea's claim doesn't make sense. Hb's action claim doesn't make sense. And the night actions don't line up around them.

And, DYL's inventor role basically creates a gamewide JOAT, which doesn't jive with Lea's role.

There is very little effort to simply read day 2.

I'm a JOAT and I scanned Puns. He's guilty. I don't consider this a counter claim of HB. Let's skip the usual rhetoric of pretending to consider "would scum go one for one???" and then the second stage, denial, where it's assumed I'm bluffing (I'm not). I'm not retracting this claim ever because for once it's true. I scanned Puns because he's Puns. I didn't scan Mzero because I respect Corrik's scum tier analysis. First of all actions were due two hours ahead of deadline I believe. Any time I am shot I am in the dead town chat before the day is up. And Scum has to get their results. It's maybe host discretion but there is a very strong likelihood that scum got their results and news of puns death before the game went up when he resolved actions.

I am not so sure you are correct about not getting informed you died when Chris hosts before the day goes up. But, you have played 3 games as scum over 5 years so maybe you are correct.

I know for a fact I have been in at least one scum game where our results and our buddies death were given to us at the same time when actions were resolved.

Why would you ever do it for town and not scum? I don't see the argument making sense there anyways.

If you inform town, you inform scum. Scum just has a shared board after death. I mean, Ulti knew I was dead, Chris was dead, crescent was dead all before the day went up just last game.

What is the difference? It just doesn't happen often cuz scum doesn't die at night often.

I had assumed they would be afraid of Ben as some weird indy role BUT if it is on their safe list they could probably assume Ben doesn't actually need to kill Bart.

Which knows if someone moves or not and if someone targeted them.

He claimed Sbell didn't move based on his flavor scan of Sbell.

Now, reminder he has to repeat this the entire game without getting caught in a game with like 14 of 17 people unclaimed. It's suicidal as hell claim as scum.

This sounds different because I could see scum puns cracking to town Chris pressure. But if Lea has claimed something crazy unpressured before, that is more supportive of your case. Still there are other targets I'm more interested in pursuing.

I can fully read Day 2 Wednesday afternoon if this game doesn't get crazy. Like I said, I iso'd Han (and read some chunks day 1 to see what his reaction to death getting pantsed was) so I don't think it will change much if I read what other players also had to say on the matter. You can go back a couple of pages if you're interested in why I think his behavior is different thus far.
