I only have TW3 there because the last year has been very, very nice for the franchise. TV show, Switch release, spike in sales, yeah.

But seriously, this is one of great match if it happens. Some of the best games of the current console generation. Both are open world, a genre that was essentially mastered in the newest generation and really what defined the last decade.

One of these games is accessible to everyone: a large, expansive game with so many things to do and play around. Limitless hours spent exploring and adoring it.

The other, a game very much similar to the first, but also the complete opposite. A dark, more mature take on the first but also damn near perfect.

One is GOTY 2015 and one is GOTY 2017.

God I hope this happens.

I actually think Witcher 3 has a pretty good chance of making the finals, even without developer rally support.

I think most people have Skyrim in the finals, including me, but it's a close match between Skyrim or Witcher. I might change my pick before the bracket locks.

Hmm my gut pick actually had Witcher going out to Mario Galaxy 2. Now I could see it going to the finals but then I would have it up against RDR2 which practically everyone seems to love so I assumed it was the safe pick.

I have yet to play Witcher and didn't care for RDR2 so I'm not sure how much strength either have.

Persona 5 vs The Witcher 3 is gonna be a hard guess. It all depends on whether Gamefaqs is really that attached to Atlus JRPGs, because Persona does not seem to perform well in these contests. I'm also expecting a lot of people to anti-vote the game hard if gets to the finals by defeating Portal 2.
