Kojima's studio is going to be working on Silent Hills and Sony got a new developer to make a Silent Hill Reboot.

If true, I am tentatively excited.

Supposedly the other team working on the Silent Hill reboot is Project Siren, the team behind the Siren series and Gravity Rush. I'm a bit... tentative on that. Siren, while thematically a great series, from a gameplay perspective is notoriously clunky.

Notoriously clunky? Sounds like it will be in line with every Silent Hill game in the past 15 years!

The good thing about it is that Project Siren is headed by the former director of Team Silent, from the very first game only. But yeah I really feel like Siren is on a different level of clunky from any Silent Hill game, you have to play it to understand probably.

The same sources are also saying Akira Yamaoka will be back, which would be great.
