Other generations probably had more fun than we did at that age. But we had the best options available to us. The kids' TV shows and movies, toys, and video games from that decade all just felt more passionate than the same from any previous decade.

I'm Gen X, my son is Gen Z. I don't want to be his Gen.

My 20s and 30s were about socialising and partying irl; and if I wanted to disappear, it was easy.

I miss those days.

I'm a millennial and our greatest trait easily is just when exactly we were born. We saw the burgeoning widespread popularity of the internet happen in the 90's and we were trained in computers from early childhood in school and at home if fortunate enough. By the time we became young working adults, the internet had developed by leaps and bounds and smartphones were commonplace but still we were grounded in the basic computer principles we learned as kids, well, at least if we paid attention in school. This is a generalization but I usually find it holds weight.
