Today when walking, I decided to listen to some music, so I opened up the music app, and started up Mellow Gold. Half an hour later I pulled out the phone so I could take a picture of something, and the screen was still on, so I turned off the music app to see if the screen would turn off. the screen didn't turn off for about 20 minutes when it suddenly did. I thought I would try to recreate the problem, so I turned on the music app again and started up the album Enjoy Incubus. Once again the screen would not turn off, until I got home and turned off the app. Funny thing is I tried to recreate it again when I got home, and this time the screen turned off. I like to listen to music on my walks, but I cannot have the screen on the entire time draining my battery. Anyone else have this problem, or know what to do about it? Sorry about the wall of text.

Won't that reset it, which would delete all my apps and whatnot? I know I could back that all up, and reload it, but I'd rather not if I can find an easier way.

As far as I can tell all that did was put it to sleep.

Edit: I want the phone's screen to turn off on it's own after 30 seconds while I'm listening to music on my walk, like it used to.
